The faucet supplied by my apt. complex was so low once I installed the Pur Filter that I could hardly wash pots. This new lovely faucet, which the complex installed for me, works for pots and anything else I want to wash. The sprayer works well too. I'm very happy with it.

The Delta Orleans Double-Handle Kitchen Faucet with Spray is a very nice unit for upgrading your kitchen. The arching faucet allows you to have much more room to work in your sink. Most standard faucets give you very little clearance for large pots and pans, especially if you have a small kitchen sink. This tall curved faucet is very functional and much taller than most.
Because it has separate knobs for hot and cold water, as well as a spray hose, it requires a four hole sink for installation. Make sure your sink can accommodate this.
Anybody that's ever installed a standard 3 or 4 hole sink faucet knows how much of a chore it can be. The hardest part can be removing the old faucet, as the fittings are often very difficult to remove.
This unit is a pleasure to install. Granted, sometimes you need to get help. But even your plumber should agree that this set goes in easy. The result is very attractive and functional.
Pros

+ Tall arching faucet gives you great clearance for cleaning larger pots
+ Orleans style has nice curved lines that go well in both traditional and contemporary kitchens
+ The faucet aerator gives a nice flow on both the faucet and the spray nozzle
+ The base is nicely constructed and sits well with plumber's putty
+ Comes in chrome or stainless steel finishes
+ Installation was well designed with quality fittings underneath
+ Price is acceptable for a good brand
Cons
- The faucet seems somewhat movable horizontally, so be careful not to push it
- The spray nozzle head feels light in comparison to the faucet
- Because it's taller than other faucets, you must be careful around window installations
This also comes in several other versions, including a stainless steel model that has a softer finish. They are identical other than the surface and the price. Both of them are solid brass underneath the chromed surface.
The price is clearly not the lowest out there, but considering the quality construction of this unit I am pleased. I actually ended up getting another after a good experience with the first one.
I still don't know why the brushed model and chromed model tend to fluctuate so much in price. If you are flexible regarding style, just check them both and choose the one going for less. Price Pfister makes a similar model, but I like Delta quality and not having to worry about having to reinstall this any time soon.
